Product basics

Each product should have a clear name, category, unit, tax handling, active status, and any image needed for customer ordering. Inactive products stay out of the customer ordering flow.

Pricing

Use pricing tiers or customer-specific pricing when different customers need different prices. Check pricing after imports and before inviting customers to order.

Featured products

Mark products as featured when they should appear prominently for customers. Featured products also show in the admin hub so staff can review the customer-facing highlights without switching to a customer account.

Recommended checks

  • Search for the product from the customer app and admin app.
  • Confirm featured and special items display correctly.
  • Check pricing for at least one customer on each pricing tier.
  • Remove or deactivate products that should no longer be ordered.
