The picker signs in, selects their picking station and opens an order. The tablet shows the assigned scale, the current item and picking progress.

Weigh it. Check it.
For kg lines, the live reading and stability state appear in the workspace. Review the measured quantity, unit price and any ordered-versus-scaled weight warning.

Supply & Next Item.
One confirmation marks the item supplied, applies the weight to the line and updates its total. Porosi selects and scrolls to the next item automatically.

under control.
A native iPad and Android tablet workspace keeps order lines, scale readings and picking actions together. Desktop and phone layouts retain their existing experience.
Orders ready for the floor.
Search orders, review delivery-date summaries and filter by status. Counts and scrolling pagination help the team find the next order, then open its full details.
A clear place for each picker.
Porosi remembers the station for that user and device. One tablet is active at a station at a time, with an explicit takeover when another picker needs to use it.
The next action stays close.
A split item list and picking workspace show the current line, picked-so-far and remaining quantities. Sticky actions and automatic next-item selection reduce navigation.
Record what actually happened.
Use item statuses, not-available and back-order actions for shortages. Review the ordered-versus-scaled warning before confirming a different supplied weight.
Manual when the job needs it.
Use the per-line weighing override or manual weight entry under Other options. Replace a confirmed weight when a correction is needed, and review the unit price and line total.
Changes remain traceable.
Recorded weight history and audited picking and manual changes explain the supplied result. Kilogram readings use three decimal places for the detail the team needs.

A straightforward setup
on your network.
Ethernet is the preferred connection. Wi-Fi is supported when a cable is not practical, with setup handled from a phone.

Connect the Bridge.
Use Ethernet where possible. Otherwise, the Bridge uses its saved Wi-Fi network when available.

Set up Wi-Fi from your phone.
When offline, the Bridge offers a Porosi-Bridge-XXXX setup hotspot. Open its setup page, scan nearby networks or enter a hidden network. A manual IP route is available if the setup page does not open automatically.

Reconnect without a fresh setup.
Failed Wi-Fi attempts return to setup mode with clear retry feedback. The Bridge reconnects automatically and starts again after a reboot.

How many scales can one Porosi Bridge connect?
One Porosi Bridge supports up to four connected scales. Each scale can be assigned to a separate picking station. Porosi can supply as many scales as your operation requires and plan the Bridge units around those stations.
Can Porosi supply the tablets and scales?
Yes. Porosi can supply the required scales and optional iPads or lower-cost Android tablets. Supplied tablets are dedicated to Porosi. Equipment and setup are covered in your quote, with the scale connections and station layout confirmed for your operation.
What does Supply & Next Item do?
For a kg line using the connected scale, the picker checks the live stable reading and confirms Supply & Next Item. This marks the line supplied, applies the confirmed weight and updates the line total, then automatically selects and scrolls to the next item.
Can two tablets use the same picking station?
One tablet is active at a station at a time. A picker can explicitly take over the station when needed. Porosi remembers the station for each user and device and shows the assigned scale in the workspace.
What happens if a weight needs correcting?
The picker can use a per-line weighing override, enter a manual weight under Other options or replace a confirmed weight. Recorded weight history and audited changes keep the correction traceable. Staff can also review the unit price and updated line total.
Do changed weights automatically update an existing invoice?
Confirmed weights update the supplied order quantities and totals. Where invoice changes are pending, staff explicitly use Sync Invoice to send the reviewed changes to the connected invoice. Invoice-state and payment controls still apply.
How is Wi-Fi set up when the Bridge is offline?
Connect a phone to the Porosi-Bridge-XXXX setup hotspot and open the setup page. Scan nearby Wi-Fi networks or enter a hidden network, then save the connection. Failed attempts return to setup mode so you can retry. The hotspot is for configuring the connection; it does not provide offline order completion.
